Crèmeschnitte Chörli (2007–2024)

Sadly, the Canberra Swiss Choir “Crèmeschnitte Chörli” ceased operations in 2024.

For seventeen years the choir performed traditional songs in Switzerland’s four national languages at Swiss Club events and community venues across Canberra, including nursing homes and retirement centres. Rehearsals were held twice monthly on the second and fourth Tuesdays, 6:00–7:30pm, at the Harmonie German Club in Narrabundah.

The final rehearsal was held on 28 May 2024.

The club thanks the ACT Government for seven years of multicultural grants support that enabled the choir to perform and build community bridges across Canberra.
